my blog philosophy
I love to design cute stuff that could be useful and enlighten the day of someone.
I really am a beginner, but surely passionate and as busy as a bee. My vector graphics are clearly inspired of the present trends of kawaii, naive style and also minimalism.
There is no intention to make really perfect vector graphics – not yet. ;) My clipart graphics are playful and most of them joyous and bright.

The story behind the blog
Drawing:
It all began two years ago. I was bored from my job and often scribbled and doodled on files and documents (shame on me!). What started as a pastime became a passion.
My drawing teacher in highschool didn't like me and neither my drawings and so I smashed my pencils against the wall, burnt all my drawings, suppressed all my fondness of it and threw all my hopes on my pure intellect. I studied literature, made my PhD, published two books and got a job in an edition project. In fact I was quite successful, but it was all against my innermost passion mind of designing beautiful and cute things and my longing to produce something which will please more people than a handful of highly specialized scientists and bookworms. Anyway, after years and years at university the passion of my childhood showed her face again.
My husband is a romantic soul with a slightly dramatic touch and fell completely in love with the idea of living on water and bread so that his wife can live as an artist. So a year ago I quit my job at university and began to learn vector graphics and drawing for myself.
Most people around me are yet in deep shock about my decision.
(Sorry, friends and family!! I'm really deeply sorry for this unpredictable change of my lifestyle! I know coffee, cake and truffles were far better than water and bread at teatime...)
Between you and me: I'm done with the water and bread meals also (and the worn out clothes too) and will open additionally an online shop soon. Perhaps there will be some butter on the bread soon – at least once in a week, mind ;)
